Koh Tan is a group of islands which is located at the Southern end of Koh Samui. Koh Tan is surrounded by neighboring islands such as Koh Madsum, Koh Raab, Koh Wang Nok, and Koh Wangnai. However, the most of favourite islands for tourists to visit would have to be Koh Tan and Koh Matsum because of their accessibility and facirities.
Koh Tan is a small island that is shaded by numerous coconut trees. The local inhabitants still conserve the local mangrove forest. It is therefore an ideal destination for eco-toursts.
A long time ago Koh Tan had a large coral reef which surrounded it however due to bleaching and other environmental issues the reefs were destroyed to a large extent. Nevertheless, there are still many species of beautifully multi-coloured fish around for observation.
Koh Matsum is location on the western side of Koh Tan. The island is uninhabited, so it is the perfect place to relax or study the life cycle of aquatic seaweed, which the Thai government is very keep to preserve in this area.

09.30 Boat departs from Thong Krut pier.
10.00 Arrive at Koh Tan for snorkeling.
12.00 Trekking on Koh Tan to see local people lifestyle and 7 meters whale skeleton at Bor Muang sanctuary
13.00 Transfer to koh Madsum to have lunch and snorkeling.
15.00 Arrive at Thong Krut pier then transfer back to hotel.
